“Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system.”— Sidney Hook

Rightly said, there could not be a better expression or a thought that could describe the role and importance of a Yoga teacher in the creation of a well-nourished student. The same reality multiplies when it comes to shaping the mind, body, and spirit. The age-old system of Yoga has stood by us all these millennia as the legacy has been duly shared and preserved by its disciples ever since its origin, who later on become the preachers and gurus to spread the word further and so the wisdom continues to flourish.

Without the presence of these Yoga marvels as teachers, the science and its miracles might simply cease to exist. We, at Shwaasa, place a specific significance when it comes to our faculty. And, so we have gathered none but the best of the globe to be the crucial members of the Shwaasa Faculty panel.

As the gurus assemble at the Shwaasa Yoga Center as the propagators of peace, love, wisdom, and enlightenment through the eternal route of yoga, we get to make sure that each of our student whether undergoing a Yoga TTC or participating in a Retreat receives the most avowed education of the Yogic Science.

Our teachers place an equal prominence on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the learning as part of their teaching methods so that the students can develop on a holistic level as Yoga practitioners and future mentors of this discipline. The aim is not to create graduates, the aim is to create and nurture the true Yogis of tomorrow so they can be the ideal bearers of this majestic science for themselves and the entire globe. The classes are imparted from a very keen perspective gained from personal interaction of our teachers with each student. After carefully assessing their limitations and requirements, the teachers at Shwaasa mold the classes for them accordingly. For the same reason, we limit our batch size so that the singular attention that each student deserves remains uncompromised.

Developing interpersonal relationships for promising outcomes is another aspect that our teachers focus on. Hence, our teachers take a step ahead in creating an aura of comfort and trust around the students so that they can let go and absorb the teachings with ease and confidence. Each of our teachers is a well-recognized expert in Yoga with an extensive specialization in at least one of its segments. Not to mention they hold years of experience as the infamous Yogi Globetrotters and Teachers of the science.
