Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum

We, at Shwaasa Yoga Organization, aim to nurture the mind, body, and soul of each and every student with traditionally-blended Yoga education. Our 200 hour Yoga teacher training courses in Nepal are completely based on the ancient theory of Yoga with a huge emphasis on Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga.

• Introduction to Yoga and its history.
• Learn about various types of Yoga such as Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Karma Yoga, etc.
• Learn the art of practicing Yoga poses with perfection by the application of Adjustment and Alignment techniques.
• Study of various yogic texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, etc.
• Practice and training of Meditation, the exercise of mindfulness.
• Pranayama holds an important space in our training, since it helps regulate many metabolic activities in the body.
• Yoga’s relationship with body parts will be discussed in detail during Yoga Anatomy classes.
• Step onto the shoes of a yoga teacher and learn how to manage a Yoga class and interact with your students.
• Getting aware of the body and the ideal way to keep it healthy by yogic means.
• Internal purification with Yoga through Shat Kriya techniques.
• Getting acquainted with contemporary yogic practices like humor therapy, transformational yoga and more.
